Daytime Soap Clip: Kyle and Fish talk about their past and future on “One Life to Live”

Fish has had sex with Layla so now he hopes thinks he’s straight. Ha! But he wants desperately to be straight and since I am past the age of 40, I can totally relate. It’s awful. Kudos to One Life to Live for some good dialogue between Kyle and Fish when discussing their past.

Fish: “College was a very confusing time for me, I was confused. I’m not confused anymore.”

Kyle then reminds him of those college days and “how you’d get drunk and cry in my arms late at night about what you’d do if your parents ever found out. I guess you don’t remember telling me you loved me… When I kissed you the other day, you kissed me back.”

Fish: “I didn’t kiss you back.”

Kyle: “Then who was moving your lips?”

Then, as the two men begin to have a tender moment and hold hands, Cristian walks in! Of COURSE! These two can’t even wink at each other without watchdog Cristian seeing it. Ridiculous. Once, fine. Twice? Puleeze.

Inexplicably, Kyle does an about-face and protects his closet-case former lover and tells Cristian: “He’s in love with Layla, he’s not gay, he never was… In college we’d get drunk and I’d try to make a move on him and he just wasn’t interested.”

So that’w where it ends for now, except that Scott Evans, an out actor himself, shows us Fish’s torment when a few minutes later he sees Kyle talking to another guy at the gym.
