Days of Our Lives: Will who? Sonny and Paul are heating up the screen in flashback scenes
I know that these love scenes between exes Sonny and Paul are flashbacks but they are quite hot and the actors have a chemistry that is sorely lacking between Sonny and Will these days.
The muscular Paul is shirtless today as he works out at the hospital and today’s scenes reveal more about what Sonny went through when they were together and why he’s so adverse to anything resembling the closet now.
Paul being a baseball pro and fearing his career would be over if he were outed is well-founded given how homophobic pro sports are.
The conversation about this between Sonny and his mom is really good stuff.
“I loved Paul, and he loved me. And he dealt with it the best he could,; Sonny tells Adrienne.
I like Sonny having this great love in his past and how it adds more dimensions to the character. The actor, Freddie Smith, is more than up to this.

I wonder (to myself of course) how long it will take Sonny’s mom get on Will’s case for his lack in and of making time for Sonny no matter how busy he is in California. Will just needs to put his foot down and tell the producers what the hell is what and come home to his husband.
