Days of Our Lives: Will resumes his interview with Paul as Sonny reaches out to his baseball pro ex

It is painful to watch Will try and be a journalist.

He resumes his interview with closeted baseball pro Paul, unaware that Paul is his husband’s ex and still carries a torch for Sonny.

That is all playing out but what stood out to me is what a terrible journalist Will is!

He says to Paul: ‘Think about what you absolutely don’t want in the article.’

Paul replies: ‘As a thank you, I will never tell your publisher you said that. I would never let a batter choose the pitches I threw.’

Paul, who is used to dealing with the press, could immediately see what a bonehead thing that was to say.

I wish the story at least didn’t make Will look like such an idiot.

In contrast, the flashback scenes of Sonny and Paul having Christmas together was sweet.
