Days of Our Lives: Uncle Vic gives Sonny a pep talk – tells him to hang on to his marriage to Will

Glad to see Sonny still being featured despite Will’s absence. Days is good at this – too good – when you consider Hope was hanging on for years waiting for Bo to come back.

Today’s scenes are actually kind of nice because they are with Sonny’s awesome Uncle Vic who says: ‘You are my nephew and I love you and I want you to be happy.’

He points out that Will is very ambitious but that Sonny should not give up on their marriage.

‘Once the bloom of the wedding day passes, marriage is hard work,’ he says. ‘I think you two have a real shot … you hang on to that.’

Personally, I’d rather Sonny have a torrid affair in Will;’s absence then try and make his mind up over who to stay with once Will returns.

But, never gonna happen.
