Days of Our Lives: Tension between Sonny and Will keeps rising and the secrets between them grow
Sonny remains furious with Will for lying about the reason he came home early from LA and they have it out.
Sonny calls Will out on his self-absorption etc. and Will seems to be concerned that things are so tense between them. But is he? Hard to know since Will now seems to be doing things his character didn’t use to do.
He takes his ring off – again – when he meets Paul for an interview in the park.
Speaking of Paul, Theresa got “dumped” by him after running into him at Sonny’s club.

When Will had a meeting with Zoe and Hal Price, the publisher of Sonix, he had to agree to certain terms before he could get the assignment to interview Paul. One of the terms was that he had to remain totally anonymous or neutral during the assignment. During the meeting, Hal found out that Will had a husband and was wearing a wedding band. He became concerned that Paul might ask questions about Will’s personal life if he saw the wedding band. Zoe & Hal both emphasized that Will had to remain totally separate, neutral, so Paul wouldn’t react to Will’s personal situation. That is why Will removes his ring each time he meets Paul.

It appears to me that Will does not have the latitude that he was promised when he signed on with Sonix Magazine. I realize that Will is an excellent writer down in the sewers of all things considered. Does this reveal that Will (because it’s handled by the writers) is a gutless wonder and in some way is putting himself back in the closet. It isn’t in my opinion that Will is just not acting on his gayness (like I did for many years)he is just showing that he hasn’t the wherewithall to be in a totally committed relationship with Sonny. So in my opinion Sonny needs to lay off the guilt trip and grab Will by the knapp of the neck and give his husband a good shake to wake him up. Anyway that he chooses will be fine short of offering to divorce him to throw his husband a good scare. I realize that Sonny has money problems, and I cannot believe that trust or no trust he knows how the Demeras have acted in the past that he didn’t take the contract to his attorney, with the new club which probably has him so stressed that he cannot even think straight about his relationship with Will and is just going on autopilot. I hope that someone in Sonny’s family will step up to help him see more clearly with no guilt.

Sonny on the other hand needed to tell Will about Paul ages ago before the shit hit the fan as it is now. So what if he promised not to out Paul (A Shithead closet case extrodinaire) surely Will must know that he is not the only Queer to have made it with his currect husband. We have to follow the early story line and Will needs to come to terms with why Sonny is so adament about their relationship out in the open for everyone to see while his mom knows of the dates and times that Sonny has been incognito in places that she knew that Paul the Baseball Player just happened to be at the same time with the fact that someone was paying the bills to keep him.
