Days of Our Lives: Sonny admits to Lucas that he has feelings for Will that go beyond friendship
The friendship between Will and Sonny has been getting some airtime in recent weeks – finally – and we are seeing the groundwork for a possible romance down the road.
The two touch each other’s knees during a heart-to-heart then later, Will’s dad Lucas asks Sonny point-blank if he has feelings for Will that go beyond friendship.
Sonny admits that he does but acknowledges that Will is not near ready for a relationship. But he thinks Will is worth waiting for. Lucas approves and agrees to keep the secret.
We also have more Will and EJ scenes – and that terrific chemistry! Watch for the way Will keeps moving down the couch during their conversation then hesitates at the door before saying goodbye. WHAT is going on there?

I enjoyed watching those scenes between Freddie and Bryan(Sonny and Lucas). I think it was very mature on the part of Sonny to acknowledge that Will isn’t ready for it and deciding to letting it be a friendship until Will is ready for it. Also giving Will room and time to be comfortable with himself before taking the next step. That’s what I call patience.
