   So I guess Chandler really isn’t returning to Days… My Life Is Over. Seriously Days without Chandler is a world I do not want to live in.

   Greg, Thanks for, at least, doing this–mentioning that Chandler Massey had new projects. Maybe you could have stood up for him in August 2013 when he was fired by Days as a member of the press should have. Or, even more importantly, when the wrong scene clip was shown at the Emmy ceremony, where were you and all the other soap journalists? Where was the in-depth investigation of that debacle that might have exposed the nasty ways that producers and networks treat their personnel. You and the other soap reporters seem to be no more than PR people for the industry. And that isn’t much to be proud of.

   Greg I do remember you being angry and making posts about the Emmys showing the wrong Will Horton reel clip. I remember you posting about Chandler Massey handling it like a gentleman also. You did report about that, these new posters better do their homework.

   I have always believed – and always will – that there was more to this than just a slip of the tongue at the Emmys. I get that not everyone plays fair, no matter how much they may smile while they’re looking at you. Despite being an actor, it was very easy to tell that Chandler was very suprised and did not expect to win the 2nd Emmy. I also remember a soap article that came out the week before Chandler was fired in which he said he had just mentioned returning to school and that mushroomed into “he’s leaving.” I remember the article making a point of saying he laughed and said nothing was decided. A week later he was gone – the day after Guy read for the part – and no one told Chandler about that. He knew nothing until they fired him on Friday. The executives at Days may have had slightly good reason for not wanting cast members to discuss contracts but to go from “favorite son” to fired for just that? When a certain somebody continually gave away air dates – something else show executives don’t like. They dont want you cherry-picking when you watch – they want you watching all the time b/c that = ratings = advertising $$$ = the show stays on the air. But “Certain somebody” didn’s stop there – they “leaked” the Wilson proposal in Sept. 2013 2 months before Peggy McCay mentioned it. But “Certain somebody” wasn’t done – they skyped a converation and was stupid enough to let the skype session be recorded which apparently made its way to the studio – and yet “Certain somebody” still has their job. Has to make you wonder just how jealous “somebody” was over Chandler’s resonance with the fans and his success with the role.
