Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen reunite 50 years after starring in “Macbeth”

Nearly 50 years ago, as emerging icons of British theatre, Judi Dench and Ian McKellen took to the stage in Stratford-upon-Avon to play the doomed couple at the centre of Shakespeare’s blood-thirsty tragedy, Macbeth. Now, as Dame Judi and Sir Ian, they’ve re-united to back a new way of teaching Shakespeare, aimed at making it less daunting and more enjoyable.
