Country singer Billy Gilman comes out!
We know that Ty Herndon came out publicly earlier today and now there’s this: fellow country artist Billy Gilman has also come out as gay!
While I had a crush on Ty and knew of his music and the whispers about his sexuality, I had not heard of Billy until today.
He’s a terrific talent who had his first big hit at age 11 and continued to ride high with six albums and more than 5 million records sold.
But as he approached his 20s, music labels wouldn’t even take meetings with him.
There were whispers.
