Countdown to Outfest 2009: Surprise screening of “Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat” added to line-up

Wow! I checked the Facebook page for Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat and filmmakers were looking for extras for the film’s finale scene – just last week! But that doesn’t mean the film won’t be finished in time for a “surprise” screening at Outfest which begins on Thursday.

Hey, I know the Eating Out franchise isn’t going to win any Academy Awards but tbey are awfully fun and always have lotsa hot guys in them! The third installment stars Rebekah Kochan who starred in the first two films, Mink Stole and the fabulous Leslie Jordan. It also – and this seems like the best part – introduces six hunky openly gay actors in the lead roles: Daniel Skelton, Chris Salvatore, Michael Walker, John C. Stallings, Maximiliano Torandell, and Rick D’Agostino.

Here’s the plot (as if it matters!): Tiffani (Kochen) and her new friend Casey (Skelton) try to lure the gorgeous Zack (Salvatore) by creating a phony online profile using the image of Tiffani’s buff ex Ryan (Walker) which works fine until the real Ryan shows up. Only through some fancy footwork, advice from his Aunt Helen (Stole) and mentor Harry (Jordan) and a daring sexual escapade can Casey figure out how to set things right and perhaps even find the love he’s looking for.

The film is written by Q Allan Brocka and Phillip J. Bartell and directed by Glenn Gaylord.

The Outfest screening is on Sunday, July 19 at 2:30pm at Fairfax Theater.
