Congrats to Wimbledon champ Andy Murray!

If my main man Roger Federer couldn’t do it this year then I’m very glad to see that Andy Murray was able to win his second Wimbledon title on Sunday. He’s such a hard worker and despite having to play in the considerable shadows of Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic during his career, Andy has managed to win two Wimbledons, a US Open and an Olympic gold medal. This was his 11th Grand Slam final, but the first against someone other than Djokovic or Federer. After beating Milos Raonic 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2), Murray reflected on his win after the match: “To do it twice here, an event where there is a lot of pressure on me to perform well — I’m very proud with how I’ve handled that over the years.”

No mention of who beat Federer except that Milos was beaten by Murray. We know who favour. It seems Federer is your fair haired boy. No secret there.
