Richard says:
It’s great to see the smile on your face. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of a happy Colton in the years ahead and I look forward to seeing him.
Charlie says:
I’m glad that Colton finally found the confidence to come out and be the man he was born to be. He seems to be a nice guy, and I hope that he finds all the happiness he deserves.
Rye says:
I got it…he’s gay. I don’t see the need for all the attention and adulation when it was widely suspected that he was a homosexual. He did not invent the wheel. If we as a society wish to normalize homosexuality then we should refrain from making such an enormous hoopla about it when someone acknowledges their gayness in public. He’s gay and out. Great. Good for him. Can we discuss something of importance now?
K. Martinez says:
@Rye – To some people this is important. I’m sure that somewhere in the great wide world of the internet there is a group of people discussing the issues you think are of importance.
I’m personally glad to hear that Colton came out. There’s a big difference between someone being suspected and having it remain unspoken versus someone who actually comes out and acknowledges it.
Rye says:
@ K. Martinez – I disagree with your narrow assesment. I think there is going to be a continued major backlash from the heterosexual majority due to over exposure of homosexuality upon America. If we want homosexuality to be accepted as the new normal we can’t keep throwing coming out parties on the cover of People magazine. That is what these ridiculous “bathroom laws” are all about – people are sick of hearing about the gay agenda. Far too much is being made out of a fairly insignificant celebrity/model for coming out of the glass closet; especially when the Internet is full of pictures of his past gay relationships and the actor himself posting “…was it a secret?” on Tumblr months ago. We have a major election coming down the pike with an economy that is in ruins and a depleted job market with the middle class merging into the lower class with people caring more about what bathroom a tranny can use in North Carolina and if a sci-fi action hero actor is gay. I think our priorities as a culture need to be focused on serious issues facing our nation rather than the trivial nonsense of otherwise already out gay actor’s who re-out themselves for some Kim Kardashian type professional gain/self-promotion. We have an extremely corrupt presumptive Socialist Democratic presidential nominee who has no moral compass or allegiance to anything but money and a billionaire presumptive Republican presidential nominee who’s primary concern is big business, government deregulation, and taxation relief. We as a nation are fucked! I think if we paid as much attention to issues of consequence and a little less to fantasyland Hollyweird, things might begin to look up.
K. Martinez says:
@Rye, Over exposure of homosexuality upon America? Oh, please! I’ll say it one more time. Somewhere in this great wide world of the internet there is a group of people discussing these issues in the fashion you desire. In addition, what makes you think that someone who appreciates articles like this isn’t concerned about the direction their country is headed in or what it’s future holds? You’re painting people with a broad stroke there.
The term is transgender, not tranny. And there’s nothing trivial about LGBT rights. In the meantime why don’t you relax your hole. You might find life a little more pleasurable that way. There’s nothing that says one can’t have a little fun and still be concerned and active about their country’s future. BTW, I’ll be fully supporting my Socialist Democratic candidate thank you very much.
