Colin Farrell talks about his friendship with Elizabeth Taylor during the last few years of her life
Many people were surprised when Colin Farrell was chosen to do a reading at Elizabeth Taylor’s funeral in 2011. Nobody really knew that the two stars were even friends!
But they were.
Colin, who is quite good in Saving Mr. Banks, met Miss Taylor at the hospital where his baby was being born and the two-time Oscar winner was having a stent put in her heart.
They send flowers to each other and began to talk on the phone – sometimes in the wee hours.
Colin shares the story of their unlikely friendship with Ellen DeGeneres in this nice clip.

I believe I read this on Yahoo as well. So many people bashing this friendship and showing how stupid they are. So few true friends in the world and sounded so cool between two people. Friendship can be formed anytime and anywhere. I respect this story and find only respect for the town persons.
