Christopher Sean on his closeted DOOL character: ‘His intentions are as honorable as he possibly can make them’
On yesterday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, viewers learned that hunky hospital patient Paul Narita – a pro baseball player who has the female staff swooning – is actually a closeted gay man who used to be involved with Sonny.
Actor Christopher Sean, who plays Narita, describes his character as someone who ‘is aware of his emotions and is intelligent.’
Sean appeared in the Hollywood Christmas Parade with his castmates on Sunday and told On-Air On-Soaps that while his character still carries a torch for a married man, ‘his intentions are as honorable as he possibly can make them.’
‘What is coming up in the months ahead are so many twists and turns,’ he adds. ‘It’s going to be amazing. … I can tell you he has a past with Sonny, and he is hoping to see what future they may have.’
Although his character has been appearing for several weeks now, the surprise kiss with Sonny took place last Wednesday (26 November) and was the first indication the flirty character is actually into men.
But Sean was not among the viewers watching the show on that day.
‘I had forgotten that last Wednesday was the day the reveal aired, and so my Twitter account blew up with “OMG! OMG! OMG!” I couldn’t believe I missed it, but my parents did DVR it! So, I am just going to go to their house, and we are all going to watch it together.’

Finally some drama coming to Sonny & Will’s lives. The writers have been dropping a few hints about Paul during his stay at the hospital. What a great episode yesterday finding out his big secret.
I have never seen a drama with so many handsome & talented actors. Christopher Sean (Mr. Asia USA 2007) is the latest. Welcome Aboard!

Even though Sonny and Paul Narita did the kiss thing behind locked closet doors and it appears that they have had a relationship apparently in the past before Will came on board I am assuming. The marriage of Sonny and Will mated the two extrodinarily powerful families in Salem it will take some extrodinary twists and turns by the writers to pull it off or they could make it simple and the plane with Will on it crashes with no survivors so sad but we will finally rid of Sammie who is really just in the way now that she is a widow. I would love to be there when Theresa (apparently making plans for a wedding) finds out that she carries the wrong plumbing.
