Chris Rock to host 2016 Academy Awards
It’s official, Chris Rock has been signed to host the Oscars.
He lasted hosted in 2005 and, as I recall, did a good job!
Since then, Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen DeGeneres (twice), John Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Billy Crystal and Seth MacFarlane have hosted along with the teams of Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin and, well, James Franco and Anne Hathaway.
Yes, that last teaming really did happen back in 2011.
The 88th Academy Awards are slated for Feb. 28, 2016 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
