Chris Colfer wins the Golden Globe for “Glee”
I was still on a high from Katey Sagal winning the Golden Globe Award for Sons of Anarchy (so well-deserved!) when Chris Colfer’s name was announced as the winner of best supporting actor in a TV series for Glee.
This is a thrill for fans of Chris and of the show.
His performance as gay high school student Kurt Hummel is really touching a lot of hearts with his coming out and bullying storylines.
Chris thanked the show’s fans in his speech saying: “Most importantly, to all the amazing kids that watch our show and the kids that our show celebrates that are constantly told no by bullies in their school and they can’t be who they are … Well, screw that, kids.”
The kid is living proof that gay kids can do anything!
