Cheyenne Jackson and Michael Feinstein team up for “The Power of Two” recording due out this fall

Sorry for the late start on posts.I’m completely discombobulated today!

My morning column – a very special one – comes up shortly. But wanted to post this for now. I think it’s so cool that two such handsome, talented and openly gay stars as Michael Feinstein and Cheyenne Jackson are going to have a recording out soon – a recording I will certainly buy!

Michael’s club, Feinstein at Lowe’s Regency, is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary and recently hosted the first joint engagement of the club’s founder and the hunky Mr. Jackson.

Their duet show The Power Of Two featured pop songs, classic standards and songs from Broadway shows like The Pajama Game, City Of Angels and Finian’s Rainbow. The two stars sold out individual appearances at the club earlier this season as well.

Broadway World reports: After collaborating onstage for the first time, Jackson and Feinstein headed into the recording studio to shape the concert into a new album. The two talents recorded the songs last week and the album will be available for purchase and download in Fall 2009.
