Cher pays tribute to former husband Gregg Allman

Gregg Allman, a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, passed away peacefully at his home earlier today at the age of 69. He was once famously married to Cher and is the father of her younger son Elijah Blue Allman, 40. Cher paid tribute to Allman on Twitter writing ‘Words are impossible.’ Now 71, Cher wrote a deeply personal song about their relationship called Too Far Gone (My Song) which was on the B side of her Take Me Home single which I owned and played and played and played – both sides.
