This is a movie that involves a lot of people I respect and admire so I’m giving it the full plug here!

It’s a lesbian musical-comedy called GIRLTRASH: All Night Long. Is that a great title or what?

This worldwide release is from POWER UP Films which was kind enough to honor me as one of their amazing people in showbiz back in 2012.

The film has had its World Premiere last week at the 16th week at the 16th Annual FilmOut Film Festival and won Best Soundtrack honors.

The film is based on Angela Robinson’s extremely successful Web series sponsored by Showtime and stars Lisa Rieffel, Michelle Lombardo, Gabrielle Christian and Mandy Musgrave, Rose Rollins, Kate French, Clementine Ford, Malaya Rivera Drew, Megan Cavanagh, Kelly Odgen, Jessica Chaffin, Erin Kelly, Heather Thomas, Mike O’Connell, Killola and the Dollyrots.

Made through POWER UP’s Filmmaking Mentorship Program, GIRLTRASH: All Night Long, is the tale of 5 girls in one epic night, where they find sex, drugs and rock-n-roll in this romantic
musical comedy about believing in yourself and going for broke.

The film was directed by first time feature director Alex Kondracke, the legally-wed wife of Robinson, and executive produced by Stacy Codikow (D.E.B.S., Itty Bitty Titty Committee,
POWER UP founder & CEO), produced by Lisa Thrasher and Angela Robinson (L Word, True

Blood, Hung).

Here’s the plot: Daisy hasn’t been able to play a gig since her girlfriend dumped her, but tonight she’s got a spot in Band Slam. All she has to do is get her equipment to the venue on time.  Enter Colby, Daisy’s little sister, an earnest co-ed determined to hook up with her fantasy-girl, Misty. Colby pressures Daisy, and Daisy’s best friend, Tyler, into helping seduce Misty — only problem — Misty’s got a mad crush on Tyler. In one epic night, the girls find sex, drugs and  rock’n’roll in this ensemble musical about being yourself and going for broke.
