Charlie Sheen weighs in on Chandler Massey’s departure from DOOL: “Now your show REALLY sux!!”
Well, this has been an interesting evening to say the least!
It was less than four hours ago that I chatted with Chandler Massey exclusively about his last day on the set of Days of Our Lives.
His run on the show was ending more than three months early and he seemed excited and grateful that NBC and the show’s producers were letting him out of his four-year contract.
He was certainly upbeat and did not sound like a man who has just been “fired.”
But Charlie Sheen, with whom he shares a publicist, took to Twitter a little while ago with this tirade: hey “Days of our Lives” producers – newsflash you two dollar pig phukkers: now your show REALLY sux!! you fired Chandler Massey?? Are you trying to make Ashley Butcher look talented? NOW his career begins! he’s a winner. period the end. his TWO EMMYS speak to that fact loud and clear.
I don’t know if Charlie knows something we don’t know. I only know what Chandler shared with me.
It is interesting that after my chat with Chandler posted here and over on Gay Star News, the soap released a statement of its own which said in part: ‘Due to current storyline and the timely discovery of new talent that the show feels is the right recast for Will Horton, a mutual decision has been made for the changes to taken place immediately.’

Chandler has done a great job, but I have noticed that lately he depends a lot on the cue cards to remember his lines….Good luck to him.

The producers have spoken: they make the decisions, not the actors. I agree with Sheen that Massey was fired. They won the fight, the viewers lost a good story line.

Does anyone really care what Sheen thinks about anything? Sheen got free publicity again.
