Channing Tatum is #1 at the box office!

Channing Tatum is such a stud!

His new movie Dear John dethroned box office behemoth Avatar! The romantic drama (also starring the lovely Amanda Seyfried) grossed an estimated $32.4 million in its opening weekend relegating Avatar to second place after a seven week reign at the top.

No need crying for Avatar though. The James Cameron-directed epic took in an additional $23.6 million for an overall domestic take of $630 million (I’m not even gonna get into the international numbers which are equally gaudy).

But the fact remains that for this weekend at least, Channing Tatum is King of the World!
