Chandler Massey rides in Gay Pride Parade in Columbus Ohio: “It was unreal!”
I’m off to another day at the LA Film Festival soon but just had the chance to quickly chat with Chandler Massey – our Will Horton – who has just rode in the Gay Pride Parade in Columbus, Ohio – his first Pride event!
The Days of Our Lives star – now a two-time Emmy winner – tells Greg In Hollywood he has been deeply touched by the reaction along the parade route and from fans he has chatted with since arriving in Ohio on Friday.
‘It was unreal,’ he said of the parade. ‘I can’t believe how many people were here. I’m so glad I’ve been able to do this.’
He added: ‘What’s been overwhelming is how many people have told me how much the Will and Sonny storyline has helped them in some way. They are saying some amazing things and it is a reminder to me that Days is really doing something special.’
Chandler was invited to the event by the Polaris Financial Group and part of the proceeds from his appearance go to The Trevor Project.
He made the stop on his way back to Atlanta where he will reconnect with his family then travel with them to Machu Picchu in Peru.

So glad he was able to come visit my home state of Ohio. I hope he enjoys the rest of his visit and then with his family trip to Peru. Thanks for the charitable support he is providing to The Trevor Project and other worthy causes.

As one of the hosts who brought Chandler into Columbus from Polaris Financial Partners, I can say with great conviction that Chandler Massey is one of the most genuine people whom I’ve ever met. All of us have been utterly astounded by the presence, class and the charisma that Chandler has. This young man has a long way to go in Hollywood Greg and you’ll be blogging about him for decades to come.
