Celebrating Bette Davis with her funny story about running into Tallulah Bankhead at a Hollywood party

Today is the 115th anniversary of the birth of the great Bette Davis whose classic movies include All About Eve, The Letter, Now, Voyager, Of Human Bondage, and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Three of her other most memorable roles were in The Little Foxes, Dark Victory, and Jezebel. Those were all roles that Tallulah Bankhead had played to great acclaim on the New York stage but when it came time for them to be made into films, movie star Davis got the roles.
