It is 4 years ago today I re-entered back into competitive sports with the @sydneyconvicts At 18 I'd given up sport due to growing up with the belief gay men can't play or be competitive in the environment. Something I struggled with for many years. Getting back into rugby has proven to be one of the best decisions of my life and the reason I've been able to achieve everything I have. I look forward to a generation of LGBT youth knowing they're not only welcome in the sporting world but capable, talented and competitive athletes! #youcanplay
