HAPPY PRIDE! I've been posting so many long ass captions recently. So…here's another one.Being gay and a part of the LGBTQ+ community has been life changing. Not only through accepting myself but also from educating and learning. With all that has been going on in the world, I believe Pride needs to be celebrated more than ever. Obviously that's not possible with the pandemic. But I feel like we can still do our part everyday to fight against hate, violence, and discrimination. Since coming out, I've been so empowered by the LGBTQ+ community. I've seen the impact that has had on me. I've grown so much as a person (but somehow I'm still 5'2". ) Although we are all very different in our backgrounds, experiences, and stories; we must continue coming together use our voice to educate and stand up for each other. I believe our community is rooted in LOVE…AND THAT IS OUR POWER.
