Celeb Instagram: Obama Day Edition

Imagine being a Puerto Rican gay man standing in the White House celebrating #PRIDE on the 40th Anniversary of the #StonewallRiots and the first African American president approaches you and before you can say anything he begins to tell you how he watched you on TV and why you should be PROUD of yourself. That happened and I was finally given this photo last week so I could remember it. Thank you, @barackobama, for your grace and humility that day. I’ll never forget it. I hear you have a birthday soon. Happy Birthday, Mr. President.

One of the greatest moments of my life was when I got to personally thank @BarackObama for his support of the LGBTQ community. He told me it was one of the things he was most proud of about his time in the WH. #happyobamaday
