Forgot to post this picture from last weekend’s march in WeHo. Standing in solidarity today on Juneteenth, which if you don’t know is a Holiday recognizing the end of slavery in the United States (which was more than 2 years AFTER the Emancipation Proclamation). It saddens me that I was not taught about this in school, or the Tulsa Massacre, or so many other important moments in Black History. It’s up to our generation to speak up and make sure that future generations know better—and do better.
