HAPPY 75th BIRTHDAY DIANA ROSS! I have loved her since I was born. (The Supremes posters in my bedroom should’ve been a clue to my parents for what was to come.) Nobody has had a career like hers – from the catalogue of hits to the gowns. We gotta appreciate our divas while they’re still with us, and Diana Ross is my number 1….then came Cher and Madonna and Patti and Aretha and Whitney and Mariah and Donna, but we will talk about that another day. (By the way I spent an inordinate amount of time looking for the perfect clip to post but there are too many and as usual, I went with one from @the_disco_generation). #CallHerMissRoss #DianaRoss #TheBoss

Happy 75th, Ms. Ross!!! (She’s an elder, so that’s how I will refer to her) With grace and glamour @dianaross blazed many trails and proved that a black girl from the projects could take the world by storm. A win for her was always a win for the culture. So on her birthday I’m rocking a T-shirt by @phenomenal.ly which benefits Higher Heights, which is in the business of building Black women’s political power. Grab you one!
