Carrie Prejean calls Larry King “inappropriate” for asking about her lawsuit settlement and threatens to walk off of his show

To those sick to death of anti-gay marriage activist and former Miss California Carrie Prejean, sorry!  But I can’t look away from this train wreck just yet.

She went on Larry King Live tonight to promote her book Still Standing and what transpired was a rather bizarre couple of minutes of television.

Larry King asked her about the lawsuit settlement with pageant officials that everyone in the world knows came about because of a solo sex tape Prejean made for an old boyfriend. King got the standard Prejean “I’m not discussing a confidential agreement” reply which all0ws her to duck admitting that she quickly settled the suit because of the tape.

She then dressed Larry down for being extremely inappropriate – said so at least three times even after he tried to move on and take a caller.

“I didn’t mean to be inappropriate, I was just asking a logical question,” a clearly agitated King said as Prejean took her mic off and stopped participating in the interview.

My bet is SNL writers are already busy writing a sketch of this!

Some people, including Kathy Griffin on Twitter tonight, seem to think the sex tape was leaked as a way to sell more books. Maybe but I doubt it. This hissy on Larry King Live, however, does seem a bit premediated because he had backed off rather quickly and she still was so indignant over a question that she had been asked on other shows.

Okay, in a related item, Prejean has started a feud with Donald Trump too! Like I said, train wreck. She wrote in the book that Trump Trump divided up Miss USA pageant contestants based on their looks. He denies this and he is ticked!

“Carrie should be ashamed of herself,” Trump told Extra. “t was total nonsense — it was fiction in her imagination… I don’t even know how she came up with an idea like that. She should not have written that in the book.”

Wow! He sure went easier on her than he did on Rosie O’Donnell a few years back when she made fun of him on The View and called her a fat slob etc.

Not exactly a classy guy himself.

Here’s what Trump had to say about Prejean’s sex tape: “She’s trying to act like she’s a nun… so maybe she should release the sex tape and people would see whether or not she is a nun.”
