Calvin Klein ex Nick Gruber: ‘Like a lot of people, I’m working on my issues. I want to improve myself’
If he had not been hand-picked by Calvin Klein to be his boyfriend, we might not have ever heard of Nick Gruber.
But Klein did and now Gruber is a quasi-celebrity who gets most of his attention by misbehaving.
He seems to really be annoying people even more by saying he’s not gay at all – something he made very clear when he went to a party on the very gay Fire Island recently and got upset because one too many guys had touched him.
‘After over five people were getting touchy-feely with me, I got frustrated and said to one of them something like, ‘Hey, I’m not gay, can you ease off?’ Again, I don’t remember the exact phrase as I wasn’t planning to write it all down on Facebook,’ he tells my Gay Star News colleague James Withers in an email interview.

I feel sorry for him. He has a sad.past and probably an even sadder future! Poor, from a family that didn’t care what happened to him (heroin druggie mother, absent Hell’s Angel dad – had never heard of Calvin Klein ), he was a teen-ager given EVERY THING, a $9000.00 a month apartment – everything! At 19!
He’s not a genius and he’s a totally lost soul, a pretty nobody who was with a rich old Somebody; a dad-image? So whom do we blame, an immature, needy teen-ager (he’s barely 23 now!) or a very rich, sophisticated, legendary and horny 69 year old!
I feel sorry for him.
