Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t see herself dating women in future: ‘I’ve been there, done that. I have three ex-wives’

Caitlyn Jenner is indicating that she plans to date men moving forward.

‘To be honest with you, I don’t see dating women in the future. I’ve been there, done that. I have three ex-wives,’ Jenner says in a preview of an episode of I Am Cait shown to us reporters on Thursday at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena.

Series regular Jennifer Finney Boylan then jokes: ‘Then you can have an ex-husband.

Jenner, 66, appeared in person on a panel to promote I Am Cait alongside castmates Boylan, Chandi Moore, Candis Cayne, and Ella Giselle.

Boylan, who stayed with her wife after transitioning to female, later told me: ‘I’m surprised at that answer (about no longer dating women). I thought that she was gonna to stay with women.’

She added: ‘It can take years to figure out where all the dust is gonna settle. It seems that now maybe she’s thinking if there’s a romantic future, it’s going to be boys – men.’

Jenner, 66, most recently was divorced from Kris Jenner after nearly 25 years of marriage and two daughters together.

Previously, Jenner was first married to Chrystie Crownover with whom he has a son and a daughter. After their divorce, Jenner married actress Linda Thompson and they have two sons.

Jenner’s gender identity played a part in all three divorces.

Jenner’s Republican politics were brought up and it was pointed out that the political party has not been supportive of LGBTI equality.

‘Democrats have been better in this issue,’ Jenner said. ‘Isn’t it good they have someone on the team who can going in there (to try) and change their minds? We have our fingers crossed that we can win them over.’

Jenner had been widely criticized last fall for what seemed like a lukewarm endorsement of same -sex marriage during an appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

She says in a future episode of I Am Cait: ‘Looking back on it, I didn’t explain it as well as i should have.’

Jenner was also asked about Golden Globe Awards host Ricky Gervais taking aim at her during opening monologue

‘What a year she’d had. She became a role model for trans people everywhere showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and destroying stereotypes – she didn’t do a lot for women drivers.’

Gervais was referring to Jenner’s involvement last year in a car accident in Malibu that resulted in the death of a woman.

Replied Jenner on Thursday: ‘I think what I’m going to do is call the Golden Globes and see if they need a new host for next year and we will solve that problem.’

  1. ‘Democrats have been better in this issue,’ Jenner said. ‘Isn’t it good they have someone on the team who can going in there (to try) and change their minds? We have our fingers crossed that we can win them over.’

Caitlyn-the Log Cabin Republicans and the off shoot GOProud both have tried and failed spectacularly on moving your party on the issue of equality under the law. If anything your party is more anti gay and anti trans than ever before. I wish you luck but you are in for a rather rude awakening from your party.

  2. Does Caitlyn Jenner seriously believe President Trump will support LGBT Rights and Transgendered teens. If you want to make trans lives better then start supporting candidates that want the same.

  3. @Larry-President Trump? Perish the thought!!

  4. I don’t get this whatsoever, and I’m not talking about polotics. How does a person, at age 65, decide they want to date the opposite sex? That would be the same as me declaring I’m going to start dating women, for God’s sake! This person was married three times to women, had a bunch of kids, and now wants to try out the ol’ weiner, eh? I’m so f’ing sick of this whole dumbass family.

    🙂

  5. @Joe-Caitlyn was always Caitlyn. She didn’t decide to be trans just like you and I didn’t choose to be gay. Caitlyn grew up with, I’m guessing, with a lot of religion and conservatism which makes it even tougher to come out. She also grew up at a time where GLBT’s were considered mentally ill. I applaud anyone who has the courage and strength to live their truth. I’m all for that. I do however have a serious issue with her politics.

  6. Well I told you. Bruce was gay for a long long time. Whether he was in denial or just deceptive is for others to debate. Bruce Jenner is an ass. He was an asshole to his former wives and his earlier children. This whole “transition” is full of duplicity. Whether he dates men, women or the local dog, he’s still what he always was…an asshole.

  7. Faen, I know only too well how it is to grow up being gay in that same era since I am 68 years old. I used to go to church all the time and even would go to Mass on my lunch hour occasionally, so I’m well aware of the religious side of things in that era as well. I’m just thankful I was honest, courageous, and never told anything but the truth about all things; including myself. It wasn’t an easy road, but THANK GOD I didn’t wind up like the freak that is Caitlyn Jenner.

Thank you, stanhope, for your comments! I agree that Bruce was always an asshole. Wearing a dress now doesn’t alter that whatsoever.

  8. @Joe-I’m thankful you had the courage and strength to be who you are as well. That being said not everyone has and had the strength you did and do.

Bruce did not put on a dress and become Caitlyn. She was always Caitlyn. As you know I very strongly disagree with her politics. Hell I find them repugnant but calling her a freak does our entire community a disservice and plays right into the hands of Tony Perkins et al.

Caitlyn is a trans woman who has a LOT to learn about which political party has her back and which doesn’t. I continue to hope in time she will come to the conclusion that the founders of GOProud did-that in order to change the Republican Party you have to leave it and vote against it.

  9. @Stanhope-Bruce was always trans not gay. Also can you please explain to me how her transition was duplicitous.

  10. How is she not gay NOW if she’s going to date men and even have sex with them?

  11. The way I understand it, a Trans-woman who dates men would be called “straight”. A Trans-Woman who dates women would be called “Lesbian”.
