Busy “Glee” star Darren Criss offered “The X Factor” hosting job and very wisely turns it down

The X Factor seems increasingly desperate if you ask me.

The Fox show, produced by Simon Cowell, is intent on landing some big names in order to have the kind of ratings enjoyed by NBC’s The Voice as well as American Idol.

Janet Jackson reportedly turned them down to be a judge and there are apparently talks with Britney Spears.

I think they should’ve just kept Paula Adbul!

Now E!Online reports that Glee star Darren Criss was offered the job of host to replace Steve Jones.

Of course it would make absolutely no sense for Criss to take on a hosting job at this point in his thriving career which not only includes Glee, but also a recent stint in Broadway and a new movie with Kristin Wiig.

Anyway, we’ll see what big names they snag for judges and host and see if that helps.

Maybe getting rid of Simon is the answer!
