“Bruno” takes top spot at box office
GLAAD can’t be very happy about this: Bruno, the controversial comedy from Sacha Baron Cohen about a very gay Austrian fashion reporter, edged Ice Age 3 to become the top-grossing movie of the weekend.
Bruno took in an estimated $30.4 million in ticket sales versus $28 million for Ice Age 3 in its second weekend.
Hey, I’m jut glad the movie is finally out so we can be done with the endless publicity stunts and so Sacha Baron Cohen can finally but some clothes on and grow back his body hair!

I was prepared to love “Bruno” and I did. I wish that GLAAD would lighten up and stop sounding like the Christian Right Wing. Since GLAAD is making such a noise about this film, I was wondering if they ever protested Mel Brooks treatment of gays in “The Producers” and “Blazing Saddles?” THAT was offensive!
