Brunch Break Video: Jack finally finds true love with Doug in the series finale of “Dawson’s Creek”
I just love these scenes. After six years of loving and losing, the show’s gay character Jack McPhee (Kerr Smith) ends up with the town sheriff – Doug Witter (Dylan Neal). Yeah, they kiss like a coupla straight guys but it’s still quite sweet.

Kerr Smith is a hottie all around. I just realized he also played the catcher on The Broken Hearts Club who Dean Cain’s character hit on during a softball game.

I loved Jack’s character, and it was a shame they just didn’t know what to do with him, once he was out.
Now, if only they could find a writer, to do a spin off of Jack & Doug, plus a 6 year old Amy. Still living in Capside, showing what it’s like to be gay and choosing to live life in a smaller American community. And, raise a child. Just get guys that aren’t so homophobic to do it. Or wait better yet, get two OUT actors to do it.
