Broadway’s Nick Adams on “A Chorus Line” 50th anniversary: “One of the greatest nights of my life”

It was in 2007 that the talented and gorgeous Nick Adams co-starred in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. He wowed audiences with his muscles which were nicely in display until Mario Lopez joined the production. To not detract from their new star’s own impressive physique, Nick was made to wear a hoodie at times! It got a lot of press attention at the time but the good news is Adams and Lopez became and remain good friends.
Nick, meanwhile, went on to star in such Broadway hits as Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and La Cage aux Folles and to star in national tours of Falsettos and Wicked, among other stage, film and television credits.
A Chorus Line celebrated its 50th anniversary with a star-studded concert at Broadway’s Shubert Theatre on Sunday and Nick was among those dancing in the chorus. He shared a few pics and gis feelings on social media:
One of the greatest nights of my life. I am struggling to articulate what Sunday felt like. I’m moved to tears every time I think about it. I haven’t stopped thinking about it. It’s still alive in me. I am so grateful I was asked and so grateful that I said yes. To celebrate this show, to return to this show, this same role, to honor the greats that inspired me to pursue this life. What a dream LIVED. I’m overwhelmed. Thank you @baayork for this gift. The chance to dance. I’ve missed this part of myself. This part of my artistry. My expression. Thank you for bringing me home. I felt 24 again. I felt like I was flying.
I am a dancer. I haven’t said that sentence in many years. I had a great dance career. It may not look the same as it did 17 years ago, but I’m so proud of myself for just doing it. I was very afraid to revisit all of this. To be in a room with talented young bodies. To maybe not live up to the form I once had. But the universe provided me this incredible gift. I had somewhere exciting to go.0
