British diver Tom Daley is in relationship with a man: “It really just feels right … I couldn’t be happier”
Adorable British diver Tom Daley posted a deeply personal video on YouTube earlier today with this message: “This has been a hard decision to make, but I wanted you to hear this from me.”
He goes on to tell the world that he is currently in a relationship with a man – his first.
In the video Tom says: “Come spring this year, my life changed. Massively. When I met someone and it made me feel so happy, so safe. Everything just feels great. That someone is a guy. And it did take me by surprise a little bit. It was always in the back of my head that something like that could happen, but it wasn’t until spring this year that something clicked. It felt right.”
Just 19, Tom won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Hooray for Tom!

Larry says:
He said in the video he has always been honest but that’s a lie, Tom has denied being attracted to men for years and so by saying in the video he is an honest person he’s even lying about that. Dude you’ve never had a relationship with a girl because you’re gay, you’ve never felt comfortable talking about your relationships because you’re gay.
Greg Hernandez says:
He’s 19 Larry. When I was 19, I said I wasn’t gay then I said I was bi. Check out the abuse he’s getting on Twitter and ask yourself why someone would “lie.”
Joe says:
I didn’t come out until I was 27. Kudos to Tom for finally realizing who he is. Lucky boyfriend! 🙂
James says:
Whatever happens, I wish him the best.

It reassuring to know Tom’s supporters, including me overshadows the Twitter haters a hundred-fold. Wishing him much success on his training towards Rio.
