Breakfast w/Greg: Novak Djokovic exposed; Jessica Lange’s 8 angry years; Kathy Griffin’s new friend
“BRIEF” ITEM ON TENNIS ACE: I know this is kinda of a lot of flesh for so early in the morning but hey, what better to wake up to than a gorgeous male tennis star?
In case you don’t recognize him without a tennis racket in his hand, that’s Novak Djokovic, the world’s fourth-ranked tennis player and winner of the 2008 Australian Open. The stud from Serbia is quite the exhibitionist which makes me very happy.
He stripped down to his skivvies for a fashion show at the players party in Montreal where a major US Open tune-up tournament began on Monday. Also in the field are top-ranked Roger Federer playing in his first tournament since winning Wimbledon, former number one Rafael Nadal who has been out for two months with bad knees, and Andy Roddick, my pick to won the US Open next month.
As for Novak, win or lose on the court, he’s got the entire field beat on the runway.
What. A. Body.
BONUS VIDEO: Below is a brief video of Novak modeling in his underwear two years ago at the same fashion show. He had boxer briefs on then. Next year, he’ll probably come out wearing a thong!
LANGE’S ANGRY YEARS: Two-time Oscar winner Jessica Lange gave an interview to The Advocate to publicize today’s DVD release of Grey Gardens, the acclaimed HBO film starring her and Drew Barrymore.
When the subject of gay marriage was brought up, Miss Lange said she is absolutely in favor of it even though she and Sam Shepherd have never married after 25 years and two children together. She also discussed how difficult it was for her to live through the eight years of the Bush administration.
“I was having a conversation with someone just yesterday because they were also incredibly passionate during the Bush administration and it was like, you know, I made myself so crazy for those eight years,” she says. “I lived in such a state of rage, which is a terrible way to live. But I so objected to what this man was doing and how he was running the country, and his wars and everything, that I kind of made myself nuts. I campaigned very hard for Obama because, I mean, the choice between him and McCain and Palin [laughs], I would have had to leave the country. I don’t think I could have done another eight years of that. Now I feel like I can kind of [exhales] relax a little bit. I don’t have to be so maniacal. If they don’t get bullied by this small, crazy Republican subset, I think there is a lot that can be done that needs to be done. I am really hopeful. The one thing I do know is that he is extremely intelligent and I also think he knows what he is doing. So hopefully he will get done what needs to be done.

TWEET OF THE DAY: divarobbieImporting a zillion Streisand 60’s albums into my iTunes. Because I’m that gay.

Greg, great pics of Novak and Andy this morning. Also, just wanted to mention that “” appears above the header on your site. I’m guessing it’s exposed HTML code that isn’t necessarily supposed to be there (or perhaps something in my settings may be wrong).
Thanks for all your wonderful coverage, shared videos and pictures, and the upbeat focus on our community.

Wow!!! Jessica Lange might have left the USofA!!!! Another Hollywood leftist airhead spouting off. If she had gone who would have noticed.

I thought the pairing of Kathy and Levi was great publicity for her. Plus, Levi wants to model so here’s his chance to get more exposure.
