I’m loving Palm Springs this week with absolutely perfect weather. Went to the downtown street fair last night and tonight it’s happy hour at Wangs in the Desert then Broadway videos at Spurline.

Tomorrow, it’s back to LA .

So today is the birthday of a Greg In Hollywood all-time fave: Mr. Ryan Reynolds!

The studly star was in two really big hit movies this year: The Proposal opposite Sandra Bullock and as Deadpool in X-Men Orgins: Wolverine as well as the indie film Paper Man which screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June.

Ryan is that rare combination of intelligence, humor and stone-cold stud that makes us swoon.

The actor, who turned 33 years old today, has completed the thriller Buried and will next star as the title character in Green Lantern.

Glee-ful Broadway Stars Lea Michele & Matt Morrison Land on Cover of Entertainment WeeklyGLEE ON EW: Isn’t the success of Glee just the most wonderful thing?

The sh0w is entertaining to anyone who watches it thanks to the most talented cast on television headed by Matthew Morrison described on the cover of Entertainment Weekly as “The Hot Teacher!” and Jane Lynch (“The Psycho Coach”).

Not only is the show delivering solid ratings for Fox, it’s also taking the music industry by storm. More than 1.7 million Glee songs have been sold since May.

The cast is also experiencing instant stardom.

“I was at Disneyland yesterday — big mistake,” says Chris Colfer, who plays gay fashionista Kurt. “I might as well have walked around with a target on my shirt, because those are our fans. I stopped and took pictures probably 40 times in between rides. This one lady got a picture of me on the Tower of Terror and had me sign it.”

HATE CRIME BILL: And finally, here is a clip from last night’s Anderson Cooper 360 which has the Silver Fox talking about yesterday’s passage of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act”  which allows for added charges and harsher jail sentences for those convicted of what is deemed to be a hate crime, a crime against somebody’s race, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity.
