Breakfast w/Greg: Gossip Girl gay kiss; Zachary Quinto’s LGBT support; Carrie Prejean boob update

Good morning everyone.

So, did you watch Gossip Girl last night? I haven’t been watching the show for awhile but knew there a kiss between Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and guest star Neal Bledsoe who played Josh Ellis, the college’s head of freshman affairs.

So why was Chuck kissing Josh?

It all had to do with his girlfriend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) who wants to give the freshman toast so badly that she’ll do anything to get it – even offer up Chuck’s sexy lips to another man!

As far as kisses go, it was brief but not bad and what I really liked was that it was sexy with a little bit of the playing with the hair and flirting. We’re not on Dawson’s Creek anymore!

As good as having a gay kiss on the show was, Chuck’s line to Blair after the smooth was classic. She asked him if he was upset about kissing Josh. Replied Chuck: “Do you really think I’ve never kissed a guy before?”

QUINTO’S QUEER WEEKEND: While we are on the subject of on-air gay kisses, Zachary Quinto once shared a really STEAMY one on Tori Spelling’s highly-entertaining but sadly short-lived show So NoTORIous.

In his pre-Heroes and pre-Star Trek days, he played Tori’s gay BFF on Spelling’s show and the one scene of his that I remember best took place in the sauna of a gym and interrupted by Tori. (See video below!)

Anyway, Advocate.com reports that Zachary has a big, gay weekend on tap. He will appear at Saturday night’s Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center’s annual gala at the Century Plaza Hotel joining previously announced celebs Wanda Sykes, Coco Peru and Chelsea Handler.

Anyway, Zachary will then join a host of other stars on Sunday at the Los Angeles staging of The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later. Appearing with him are Pauley Perrette (NCIS), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theor), and Broadway’s Barrett Foa, among others.

BOOBGATE: Ousted Miss California Carrie Prejean, who doesn’t believe gay people should have the right to marry, is back in the news.

Carrie has portrayed herself as a victim in basically everything that has happened to her ever since Perez Hilton asked her for her opinion on gay marriage at the Miss USA Pageant last spring. But really her biggest problems seemed to stem from the fact that she preferred becoming the darling of the religious right instead of performing her duties as Miss California.

She is suing pageant officials for firing her and they have fired back: TMZ.com reports that the production company that runs the Miss California pageant is filing a cross complaint against Carrie, demanding, among other things, that she return the $5,200 the pageant fronted her for her breast augmentation.

The cross complaint says, “Had [Carrie] heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle …”
