Blake Berris tells Greg In Hollywood former “Days” co-star Chandler Massey deserving of third Emmy
Nick Fallon lives!
Well, the character on Days of Our Lives seems to be dead for good but the actor who plays him is very much still with us and I had a nice chat with him this morning.
Blake Berris is part of the cast of Crazy Bitches, a film screening at the Outfest Film Festival in Los Angeles on July 17 and I’ll have more about his role in the movie and what else he’s up to next week.
For now, I just want to share with you Blake’s thoughts about Chandler Massey – who played his cousin and on-screen nemesis on Days until January – winning his third consecutive Emmy on Sunday.
‘I think it is fantastic,’ he said. ‘I think Chandler is one of the most exceptional young actors that I have ever worked with.’
Blake added: ‘He’s a great friend and I’m glad he is being acknowledged again for his work.’
The two had many heavy scenes together as Nick did all he could to have Gabi and Gabi and Will’s baby to himself.

Gabi and Will have a baby together. Not Gabi and Nick. Nick tried to get Will to give up his parental rights to the baby.

My favorite confrontation was before the baby was born. Will told Nick that he was right; he didn’t give a damn about him.

Blake Berris brought a different level of entertainment to Days of Our Lives as Nick Fallon. There was more humor, intrigue, depth & diversity to his character. His acting didn’t appear as acting nor just quoting memorized lines. I think Blake should have received an Emmy for his performance on Days. But I’m sure he will achieve something greater in his acting career going forward. FYI.. DOL just isn’t the same without BB as Nick Fallon!

Nick Fallon is a good guy. Who knew? haha Thank you Blake for being first class! A superb actor yourself and entertaining us in your quality style. Most of all educating us to what is right and wrong these past years. You were extremely affecting in “Meth Head” last summer and looking forward to your sophomore follow-up. I am 1 of the few who really like Nick. I thought he was treated badly from the get go. Misunderstood. Blake Berris portrayed him beautifully. Wish they hadn’t killed him off and been given a chance to redeem himself. I just like to champion for the underdog.
