Birthday wishes for Sarah Paulson and Gregg Araki!
Greg In Hollywood likes to make a point of marking the birthdays of out and proud artists as well as our favorite gay icons and straight allies.
Today, two major talents have birthdays: Sarah Paulson and Gregg Araki.
I may be gay, but I am in love with Sarah Paulson and that love began when I saw her all but steal Down With Love from Renee Zellweger. I remember thinking: “I don’t know who she is, but I want to see a lot more of her!”
Sarah, who had a widely-publicized on-again, off-again relationship with acclaimed actress Cherry Jones, is in demand for both film and television projects. She currently is in the movie New Year’s Eve and has appeared in several episodes of the series American Horror Story.
Previously, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her performance in the NBC series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip which was canceled after one season.
Sarah turns 37 today!
Gregg turns 52 today and bio, we should all look that good when we reach that age. I could not keep my eyes off of him at an Outfest panel a few years back!
Gregg, of course, is the writer-director of such memorable films as The Living End, Totally Fucked Up, The Doom Generation, Splendor, Nowhere. Mysterious Skin, Smiley Face, and Kaboom.
Happy birthday to both Sarah and Gregg!
