“Birthday Cake” starring Chad Darnell and Rib Hillis is out today on DVD and digital download

It was last fall that I had the pleasure of conducting the post-screening Q&A of the film Birthday Cake at the Long Beach Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.

Now you can see the movie too.

A sequel to an acclaimed short film called Groom Cake, the feature film covers the three days leading up to the first birthday party for the baby a gay couple (Chad Darnell and Rib Hillis) have adopted and adds to the cast such well-known names as Helen Shaver, Lee Meriwether, and Helen Shaver. Peter Paige appears in both films.
