Billie Jean King, 70, doesn’t think there will be a gay president in her lifetime – but she does think there will be a woman
Billie Jean King was interviewed by Harry Smith for Meet the Press in a piece that aired yesterday.
What I love about all the press attention BJK is getting right now because she’s an official delegate to the Sochi Games is that a lot of the pieces look back at her many accomplishments.
I think it gives not only young people a chance to learn about a heroic visionary, but it also gives everyone a chance to learn about her. BJK is a LOT more than the woman who beat Bobby Riggs in a tennis match in 1973!
Billie Jean, who is 70, tells Smith she does not think there will be an openly gay president of the US in her lifetime but she is confident there will be a female one.
Hmmm, could she be talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton?

The one fact that gave me chills was that Billie Jean King lost all of her endorsements within 24 hours after she was outed by her ex.
