“Big Bang Theory” star Jim Parsons officially out
No covers of People magazine or The Advocate proclaiming that Jim Parsons is gay – just a few lines near the end of an article in today’s The New York Times.
It’s a low-key coming out along the lines of Matt Bomer, another major TV star in a longtime relationship who earlier this year publicly acknowledged his male partner and kids for the first time.
Parsons sexuality has been something of an open secret but the 39-year-old actor has never confirmed or denied that he is gay. But he has not shied away from gay roles including a role in The Normal Heart on Broadway last June.
The actor has won two Emmys and a Golden Globe Award for his performance as the socially awkward Sheldon on Big Bang which is currently in its fifth season.

Outstanding. If everyone would just be themselves, we might actually have laws of equality and civil rights! Wonderful news about a great actor!

and if those other actors out there would do the same thing earlier, some of the us might have a chance to meet them before ten years knocks them out
