Betty White: “The People’s Choice? At 93?”

Betty White receiving the TV Icon Award at last night’s People’s Choice Awards was one of my favorite moments of the show.

The fact that Captain America himself Chris Evans escorted her to the stage only added to the specialness of it all.

Miss White has been a television star since the early 1950s when she won an Emmy for her first series Life With Elizabeth. The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Golden Girls and Hot in Cleveland may be her best known series but there are so many other shows and moments she has provided us with over the years.

“The People’s Choice? At 93?” she asked.

Indeed!
