Betty White, 88, to host Saturday Night Live!!!
I love this!!!
The great Betty White, best known for her classic TV characters of Sue Ann Nivens and Rose Nyland, will host NBC’s Saturday Night Live on May 8.
The 88-year-old star is hotter than ever following her role on last summer’s blockbuster comedy The Proposal and was honored at January’s Screen Actors Guild Awards with a lifetime achievement award. She also starred in a hilarious Snickers commercial that premiered during the Super Bowl.
NBC said Thursday that the 88-year-old actress will host the show May 8. “SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels says he can’t think of a better way to spend Mother’s Day weekend than with White.
The announcement followed a campaign on Facebook urging the sketch show to make White a host. The group attracted nearly half-a-million supporters.
