Barbra Streisand’s “Release Me” on sale today!

If I didn’t have so much to do today I’d drop everything and go over to the store and buy this CD right now!

Who am I kidding? By the end of today, chances are I’ll have it in my hot little hand just like I do everything other CD Barbra Streisand has ever released!

But I’m really excited about the latest one: Release Me.

It features previously unreleased recordings from Streisand’s legendary recording career which now dates back nearly 50 years.

Among the songs:  Home (from The Wiz), Being Good Isn’t Good Enough (from Hallelujah, Baby!), I Think It’s Gonna Rain Today, Didn’t We, Willow Weep For Me, Try To Win A Friend, and Mother And Child, among others.

Also included is the studio version of With One More Look At You, the beautiful ballad performed live in the final scene of A Star Is Born.
