Barbra Streisand poised to become the first artist with No. 1 albums in each of the past six decades

At 72, Barbra Streisand is still at the top of her game.

Her latest album, Partners, is poised to debut in the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart next week.

According to Billboard, the album may sell over 150,000 copies in its first week, according to industry forecasters.

If Partners debuts at No. 1, it will make Barbra the first artist with No. 1s in each of the past six decades beginning in the 1960s.

It would extend her lead as the female artist with the most No. 1 albums.

Barbra certainly has been doing her part to drive up sales with an appearance on The Tonight Show on Monday, Good Morning America on Tuesday and is scheduled to be on The View today.

Partners is an album of duets with such stars as Stevie Wonder, Michael Buble, Blake Shelton, Billy Joel and Lionel Richie She also duets with her son, Jason Gould.
