Auto-correct alters NPH’s Mother’s Day tweet!
I think we all have a love-hate relationship with auto-correct. For every time it’s helpful, there are at least three times that it is annoying unhelpful and even gets us in trouble.
This is what happened to Neil Patrick Harris yesterday when he tweeted a Happy Mother’s Day message to his mother:
Neil Patrick Harris @ActuallyNPH Happy Mother’s Day, @GladSheila. You are an amazing mom, a wonderful grandma, and a beautiful human being. Love you so much!
Oh my god. I just revealed that my mother eats people. On this, of all days. What have I done? What have I DONE?!?

The actual tweet said “You ate and amazing mom, …”

Doesn’t seem like an autocorrect issue but rather a typo from NPH (you know about THOSE don’t you Greg? 🙂 ) after all “r” and “t” are right next to each other on the keyboard and can’t imagine a autocorrect system substituting “ate” for “are”.
