“As the World Turns” Dr. Reid Oliver news!
Luke’s bio-dad Damian is in full wacko mode right now and hopefully he will reach a grisly end.
Thanks to AfterElton.com’s We Love Soaps column, we learn that Reid (Eric Sheffer Stevens) is gay:
This week the ‘is he or isn’t he’ question about Reid is answered and it comes from the good doctor himself. Luke and Reid are having another one of their usual bitch fests when Luke accuses Reid of being a homophobe.
Reid counters by telling Luke that isn’t the case, because he’s gay himself. Luke is taken by surprise by Reid’s admission and the back and forth continues, until Luke tells Reid that he’s not the jerk that he seems to be and that there’s a nice guy under all that bluster, leaving Reid with food for thought.
Meanwhile, Henry Coleman is still in a tailspin about Reid and Katie’s friendship, certain that Reid has a thing for his BFF Katie. But a newly returned Chris Hughes doesn’t understand why Henry is so upset since Reid is, after all, gay. Is that the only thing that Chris knows about Reid that Henry… and Luke might want to know?
Let’s hope the show actually lets the handsome doc have some romance – with Luke!

YAY YAY YAY YAY! i love reid, and tbh, im sick of the noah and luke story. i want the end game to be luke inlove with reid, cause that would be an adorable pairing (L) and come on, lets face it? noah and luke are finished now. they love eachother, yes, but they’re too different and they’re going their seperate ways. sooo, luke and reid for me 🙂 atwt, if you do that for me, ill love the writters for LIFE xD

I REALLY LIKE THIS! I think it would do so cute to see Dr Oliver get with someone throughout the show. I really want him to be a main character until the end; he’s growing on me 😉

well…It personally pains me 2 c this happening becuase Noah is in the hospital unconcious and Luke is screwing around with Noahs dr. I do not care what people say luke and noah belong together and according to what I have rwead Noah is going to find out!!!! I jsut think that Luke should tell Noah as soon as he wakes up…insted of getting back together with himwhich will happen but at the same time Luke will be screwing the good Dr. Lure we need Nuke back!!!!!!!!

Eric Sheffer Stevens, Van Hansis, Jake Silbermann entertained us in fine form this week. As Reid took a freefall to prove his love for Luke we saw the rugged, volatile, tortured face of an actor whose skills are so out of range words are deemed unnecessary. Meanwhile the fabulous Van reshapes Luke’s many faces and moods into hesitation, uneasiness, caution and a deeply disturbed soul. Noah was thrown in the middle of the drama and emerged somewhat conflicted and guarded yet considerate and decisive.A nice way to bring all three characters together and show Luke’s growing love for Reid. Just when you think these writers have topped themselves they throw Reid into another whirlwind and Luke has no choice but come to the rescue. Such agony to watch but how do you look away?

i like the story between Luke and reid. The show needs that and luke too.I want them to fall in love and stay together. Thewre´s something between them just make me want to fall i love too.
Better for the writers to ot stop this storyline or I will not see it.
